This is the schooner that we  lived on for the duration of the trip.
She was about 100ft long and slept up to 12 divers (in 2 cabins).

When all the sails were up in a nice breeze it made for a very relaxing way of traveling. Sailing in the Baltic
The week's diving started pretty gently for most of us. Some even learnt new skills like fixing neck seals.
This was our Captain Hans. He drove...... Baltic Map
But some of the time others had a go at the helm. Phil is driving
All sorts of things creep out of the woodwork while at sea. Folks at sea
Time spent playing liar dice was seen as educational by some.
If you look closely, you can see that we are NOT drinking Carlsberg!

But for others it was like taking candy from a baby.
Alison, just looking at this picture can you now see why you lost so much?

We did manage to get some diving despite the weather. Note the high standard to which this neck seal has been replaced. Phil goes diving
Unfortunately we were stranded for a couple of days in the port of Naskov by appalling weather.

We had a Russian submarine opposite us in the harbour. This was on permanent display here.

Sub
And this is what the submarine looked like inside. This is the view of the forward Torpedo room. Torpedo room
We couldn't spend all our time visiting the sub.

Sometimes we had to make visits to the bar. We spent many hours trying to get to grips with this game. The rules still seem a mystery to me.

Here we see Les 'the surgeon' Worthy take his next victim.

Billiard room
The party continued while the weather was poor.

Peter Knight even stayed in the bar till the wee hours (is he having a good time ?).

Some just carried on drinking until......... Mikes ready for bed
Others just started dancing on tables JR Dancing on tables

Thanks to Phil Sturdy for the photos.
