This page shows old pictures of some of the sites we have dived.

The following pictures come from  Steve Johnson's Queen Victoria's Navy site which contains 3,000 photos of the naval, military and social history of Plymouth. It's well worth a visit.

You can enlarge an image by double clicking on it.

HMS Hood, a Royal Sovereign class pre-dreadnought of 1890s, sunk 1914 as blockship in 16m in Portland harbour.

HMS Empress of India, a Royal Sovereign class pre-dreadnought of 1890s, used as a target for gunfire tests and sunk using her own shells in 1913 in 42m in Lyme Bay.

HMS Sidon, a 1950s submarine sunk in 35m in Lyme Bay as a sonar target.

HMS M2, a 1920s submarine, carrying a bi-plane in a hanger, sunk in Lyme Bay in 30m with all its crew in 1932.
