Welcome to Dacorum Sub Aqua Club Thanks to those who have helped us

We would like to acknowledge the generosity of everyone who has helped us.

We'd specifically like to thank:

• Awards for All, for their financial help with our new diving air compressor in 2005.

• Dacorum Borough Council who gave us:
  • help installing electricity in our Compressor shed in 2005
  • a grant towards training equipment  in 2001
  • a grant towards the building of the boat shed in 1997
  • arranged for the rent of a plot for the boat shed in 1997.

   

• Portland Coastguard and the rescue helicopter Whiskey Bravo for transporting one of our divers to a recompression chamber after a fast ascent in 2004.

• The Foundation for Sport and the Arts, an independent discretionary trust financed by football pools promoters, who gave us a grant to help buy our club boat in 1995. Many divers have enjoyed using it.

• The Royal National Lifeboat Institution, for being there when it matters in 1993 and 1994.

• Peter Baldwin, Crouch End Dive Club, for running Skill Development Courses in 2000 for us.

• Bruce Galleway, Area Coach, BSAC Eastern Region, for instructing on courses  in 2000 for us.

• Croxley Divers, New Road, Croxley Green, for the equipment they donate each year to our Christmas raffle as prizes. 

• Deep Dive, Marsh Road, Luton, for the equipment they donate each year to our Christmas raffle as prizes.

• Tracy Doyle, Crouch End Dive Club, for running Skill Development Courses in 1999 for us.

• John Webber, BSAC London Region Coaching Scheme, for instructing on courses  in 1999 for us.

• Dave Lock, BSAC Eastern Regional Coach, for instructing on courses in 1999 for us.

• Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre and staff for their help on Thursday evenings.
