The Sovereign Diving catamaran has a diver lift and takes 12 people. The boat crew will collect cylinders at the end of each day and take them for filling. Kit can be left on board, at our own risk.
We will be diving among the various small island outcrops comprising the Farne Islands. They are famous for their scenic diving and particularly for encounters with curious young seals at this time of year. Scattered ship wreckage is also to be found on some of the dive sites.
Depth range will be 15-25 metres. Advanced Open Water Divers are also eligible if the training officer confirms that appropriate progression has been made to 25m.

Cost per person are:
£217.50 for the 3 days’ diving (assuming we fill all 12 spaces on the boat)
£140 for 4 nights’ accommodation i.e. £35 per night, assuming 2 persons sharing a room – if 3 share (which some of us will have to do), the cost will be £93.33 ie £23.33 per night. All rooms have an ensuite toilet and shower.
The accommodation is currently booked out totally to us, in which case we will have exclusive use of the communal kitchen, dining room and lounge, so we can have some evening meals in, which will save considerably on overall trip costs. We have done this before and it’s great fun with everyone mucking in.
