Club Replaces Worn Out Kit

Waves Shape

Dacorum Scuba has recently purchased some replacement scuba kit.

After asking members at Thursday night meetings, the committee decided to move away from buoyancy compensator devices (BCDs), which need to be provided in various sizes from XS to XL, to one-size recreational wings. The club also replaced two regulator sets and two dive computers.

The six new AP Tekwings are available for members’ use.

Why not try one in the pool if you haven’t used a wing before?

Let our Equipment Officer James know if you’d like to try out a Tekwing.

Using club kit in open water

The club maintains a range of cylinders, regulators, BCs and some entry-level dive computers (Suunto Zoop). Club members can arrange to use items of club kit if they are not being used by the Ocean Diver trainees.  The cost is £5 per item per day of diving. Monies must be paid to the treasurer in advance. You’ll need to contact the Equipment Officer to check availability.
